1. Mitch the Mover will arrive and take a quick inventory—time clock starts when first item is picked up.
2. We will wrap and prep certain items: sofa, chair, coffee table, kitchen table (take legs off table and wrap legs), kitchen table chairs, television stand and television
3. MTM movers will verify with you items that are to be moved to the truck
4. If needed, we will ask for directions to your new location
5. We will unwrap and place your items
6. We ask you to inspect our items and ensure proper placement and then complete paperwork/payment is completed

Helpful Hints

• Book Your Move Early
• Reserve Elevators at both locations if necessary
• Reserve street parking with local municipality (24 feet)
• Purchase Moving Supplies  (We sell moving supplies, call us for prices)
• Use uniform sturdy boxes, tape them shut and mark them appropriately 
• Start Packing ASAP (5 a day)  Ask about our packing services!
• Keep boxes under 25 pounds each
• Mark the boxes appropriately (Living Room, Bedroom, Fragile etc.)
• Get your change of address at the Post Office
• Contact Utility companies regarding your change of address
• Keep one mode of communication available for the day of move (cell phones are perfect!)
• Have a good idea where you want the furniture placed in the new location
• Keep the Mitch the Mover’s telephone number accessible for day of move
• Relax!
